Leasing a vehicle is no different to any other finance agreement and all customers will require a credit check. This can be easily completed online for both personal and business lease options. We are unable to process any lease without a credit check and subsequent credit approval.
3 - Confirm the details
Once we receive your credit approval a number of important documents will be sent to you. This includes an Order Form. It is important that you check all details are 100% correct, particularly the make, model, spec, colour and interior of your chosen lease vehicle. Once signed, this form will need to be returned to Interlease.
4 - Place your order
Now we are officially ready to order your vehicle with one of our main dealerships. Whether the vehicle is in stock or a factory order, our customer team will track your order. We will provide regular updates so you know when your lease vehicle is expected to arrive.
5 - Sign your lease agreement
The Master Hire Agreement is an important leasing document. Depending on the finance funder this may be a hard copy or signed online using an e-signature. We may also require a copy of your driving license, a recent utility bill and/or bank statement to verify your identity. This process is called know your customer (KYC). We will be unable to arrange delivery of your new lease vehicle without a completed and authorised Master Hire Agreement.
6 - Cooling off period
Your cooling off period will start once you sign the Master Hire Agreement. This is a period of 14 days where you’re allowed to withdraw your order if you change your mind. The cooling off period will end 14 days from the date you sign the agreement.
N.B: The cooling off period differs for business leasing. It does not apply to limited companies. Sole traders and non-limited companies receive a five-day cooling off period.
